Who gets your details.

An enquiry is stored with the words you agreed to and the time you ticked the box. That log is the record used if a partner is invoiced for a lead.

The current consent wording, version 2026-10-20, is:

I agree that Live in Cornwall may pass my name, email, phone and what I wrote in this form to the recipient named above, so they can contact me about my move. I understand that if no signed partner is named, the enquiry is stored and is not passed on. Mortgage enquiries are passed only to an FCA-authorised firm, and Live in Cornwall does not give mortgage advice.

If no partner is signed for that town and service, the enquiry is held. It is not passed to a random firm to make the form look busy.

Mortgage enquiries are the regulated case. Passing them on for payment usually needs FCA authorisation. This site does not sell them to an unauthorised firm. They are released only to a partner flagged as FCA-authorised, who handles the compliance.

Saved towns and businesses stay in your browser. If we measure visits, we use Plausible, which does not use cookies and so does not need a cookie banner.
